Usage statistics

How machines use this platform — agents calling tools, developers calling the API, researchers downloading data. Aggregate totals over the last 30 days, published because an open platform should be able to say how open it actually is.

What is and is not counted

  • Nothing about you is here. No mortgage inputs, no prompts, no tool arguments, no IP addresses. Those are excluded by a denylist in the telemetry package, enforced by tests rather than by convention.
  • Downloads are undercounted. Dataset files are served straight from the CDN, so a curl of a CSV never touches a counter. Only downloads started from the datasets page are recorded.
  • Sessions are counted on initialize. The MCP transport is stateless, so counting every request as a session would report a figure several times too large.

Want to be in these numbers? The REST API and MCP server are free and need no key.
